Decarbonizing Portugal: A Collective Responsibility

In the face of a rapidly changing climate, the urgency to address environmental issues has never been greater. The landmark COP21 agreement in Paris, a pivotal moment in international climate policy, underscored a critical truth: only through collective effort can we hope to tackle the monumental challenge of climate change. As we approach the 10th anniversary of this groundbreaking convention in 2025, it is imperative that we reflect on the progress made and recognize the work that still lies ahead.

Portugal as taken the lead on energy transition, however, the journey toward decarbonization is beyond that, with shared responsibilities involving every citizen, business, and governmental entity.
